The Seattle Seahawks will open the 2013 season on the road at Carolina for a 10:00 a.m. kickoff, but will open their home schedule a week later on Sunday Night Football against the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers.
The full NFL schedule was released Thursday.
The Seahawks will host the Niners on Sept. 15 on Sunday Night Football.
Seattle will also get two Monday Night Football games -- at St. Louis on Oct. 28 and at home against the New Orleans Saints on Dec. 2.
The Seahawks will get a short week on Oct. 17 when they have to travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.
The Falcons will host the Seahawks in Week 10 in a rematch of their exciting NFC Divisional Playoff game.
Seattle's bye week comes in Week 12.
The second matchup with the 49ers comes in Week 14. The season will wrap up at home against the Cardinals, followed by the Rams.
Seattle will have to deal with five 10:00 a.m. Pacfic time kickoffs on the East Coast, something they have traditionally struggled with, but seemed to break through last season. That includes back-to-back games at the Texans and the Colts.
