MOSCOW -- The University of Idaho men's and women's basketball teams are picked to finish fourth in the preseason Western Athletic Conference polls.

Polls were completed by media members that regularly cover the WAC, and coaches in the conference.

Men's basketball player Mac Hopson was selected as first team all-WAC. Nevada's Luke Bobbitt was picked as the preseason player of the year.

Women's basketball player Yinka Olorunnife was a preseason first team all-WAC selection in the media poll and a second team selection in the coaches poll. Derisa Taleni was voted to the all-WAC second team in both polls.

Utah State is picked to be the top team in both men's basketball polls, while Fresno State (coaches) and Louisiana Tech (media) are both predicted to be the top teams on the women's side.
