SPOKANE -- The Gonzaga men's basketball team moved up in both major national polls, but they didn't move much on Monday.

Despite big wins against Portland (76-49 on Thursday) and Memphis (66-58 on Saturday), the Bulldogs only moved up to No. 16 in the Associated Press Top 25 (they were No. 17 last week). The Zags also climbed No. 11 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll (they were ranked 13th last week).

Gonzaga (19-4; 7-1) returns to a conference-only schedule this week, but it's as big as it gets. The Bulldogs battle St. Mary's (21-3; 8-1) for first place in the WCC on Thursday at McCarthey Athletic Center (8pm on ESPN2). The Zags also get San Diego (6-19; 2-7) at home on Saturday (7pm on ESPNU).

We'll be at Bulldogs practice this afternoon, so stay tuned for much more on KREM 2 News and KREM.com later today.
