Eastern Washington will be without one of its top defensive linemen in 2012.
Junior end Anthony Larry is academically ineligible for the upcoming season. Larry was a projected starter, after making six starts in 11 games last season.
The Sacramento native finished the 2011 season with 40 tackles, 12 for loss, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble. Of EWU's returning defensive player, only Jerry Ceja had more sacks (5.5).
Larry will have the option of returning to Roos Field in 2013.
Baldwin's team also suffered a few other departures since spring practice. Wide receiver Tyler Hart, offensive lineman Caleb Worthington, and safety Billy Lechtenberg have all left the team.
