PULLMAN -- Washington State running back Teondray Caldwell is facing multiple charges stemming from an incident on April 28th.

Pullman police say a fight occurred that led to injuries to the victim's face. While the victim was not cooperative with police that night, the suspect was said to be a WSU football player. Information gathered later led to Caldwell's arrest on May 7th.

The Los Angeles native was booked for 1st degree burglary and 2nd degree assault. The case is said to still be active.

A Washington State University spokesperson declined comment, saying it will remain a team matter.

Caldwell was an All-Conference honorable mention pick as a kick returner in 2012. He's also the team's top returning rusher with 269 yards last year.
