SPOKANE, Wash. --  With warm weather in the forecast, Bloomsday race directors expect thousands of late registrations for Sunday’s race.

“It won’t surprise us in the least to have a flood of late registration,” Bloomsday elite athlete coordinator Jon Neill said.

So far, 48,928 people have registered for Bloomsday. The last chance to register late is this Friday and Saturday at the Bloomsday Trade Show at the Spokane Convention Center.

Bloomsday sees an average 4,000-6,000 runners register late.

Race directors strongly advise local runners to pick up their race-day materials at the Bloomsday Expo event Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Spokane Convention Center.

Bloomsday will not register any runners on race day.
