LAS VEGAS -- It sounds like former Mead High School and Gonzaga University star Adam Morrison has a much better chance of extending his basketball career than some probably thought.
We reported on Monday that Morrison, the third overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, worked out for the Washington Wizards in Las Vegas, but it sounds like several other teams have also given him a look.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Morrison has also shown off his skills to the Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, and San Antonio Spurs.
Morrison won a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers the last two years, but he's now a restricted free agent. That means he can be offered a contract from another team, but the Lakers have a chance to match the offer and re-sign him instead.
The Lakers used Morrison sparingly last year. He averaged just four points and one rebound per game in just 31 appearances.
