ORLANDO - This week Adam Morrison is taking the next step in his NBA comeback attempt. In May he worked out with the Nets. On Monday he suited up for Brooklyn in hopes of landing on a regular season roster for the first time since 2010.
The former Gonzaga and Mead star got going early for Brooklyn, scoring the team's first four points on a pair of runners.
By game's end Morrison finished with 10 points on 4-for-7 shooting, with no three-point attempts. He also grabbed three rebounds in his 20:52 minutes on the floor.
Brooklyn continues summer league play this week in Orlando Tuesday against Boston at 2:00 p.m. (PT). They face the Sixers Wednesday at noon, the Thunder Thursday at 10:00 a.m., and Indiana Friday at 11:00 a.m.
