EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) -- The Los Angeles Lakers have re-signed 7-foot center Robert Sacre.

He started three of 32 games for the team last season, averaging 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds. Sacre also spent time with the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the NBA's D-League during his rookie season.

The team did not release the terms of the agreement.

He was selected by the Lakers with the final pick in the second round of last year's NBA draft out of Gonzaga.

Sacre could have an opportunity to pick up some more playing time with Dwight Howard heading to Houston.
