SPOKANE -- The Spokane Indians announced their schedule for the 2012 regular season on Tuesday.
The slate is set to begin on Friday, June 15th against the defending champion Vancouver Canadians for a five-game series at Avista Stadium.
The 76-game season features 38 home and 38 road games, with the first half of the regular season ending on Monday, July 23rd and the second half concluding on Saturday, September 1st.
The Indians will be home for two holidays in 2012; the Father’s Day game on June 17th and the popular Independence Day contest on July 4th.
Spokane has a total of 12 Friday and Saturday games in 2012, and will look to lead the league in attendance for the 14th consecutive season after drawing a Northwest League best 183,458 fans in 2011.
The Indians face Northwest League East division teams Tri-City, Boise, and Yakima 12 times each during the season, while squaring off against the Northwest League West division teams Everett, Eugene, Vancouver, and Salem-Keizer 10 times a piece.
A full promotional schedule and game times will be announced in the spring.
