SALEM, OR - A five-run second inning sparked a 9-8 comeback win for the Indians in their series finale at Salem-Keizer Friday night.
The Volcanoes wasted little time in getting on the scoreboard. A pair of doubles from Mac Williamson and Stephen Branca sparked a four-run first inning. The home team plated two more in the second to take a 6-0 lead.
Spokane quickly chipped away at the deficit, thanks in part to a two-run RBI double off the bat of Ryan Rua. Gabriel Roa and Preston Beck also drove in runs in the inning.
The Indians trailed 8-7 after the seventh inning. Rua continued his stellar night driving in Royce Bolinger with a single to right. Preston Beck followed with a RBI triple to put the Indians up for good.
