SPOKANE -- The Spokane Indians weren't the only winners at Avista Stadium on Thursday night.

The Indians beat the Vancouver Canadians 4-3 with a walk-off sacrifice fly in the 10th inning, while a lucky couple walked away with $10,000 on 10Ks for 10K night.

David Perez got the crowd fired up early on, striking out five hitters in five innings and allowing just one hit to the Canadians. Sam Robinson continued the K-filled night with four strikeouts in three scoreless innings, and Matt West sent the stadium into a frenzy with a punch out in the ninth.

Bob and Michelle Olsen from Valleyford won $10,000 courtesy of Banner Bank and 103.1 KCDA.

Spokane then capped the night with a victory. With the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the 10th, Hanser Alberto drove in the winning run with a shallow sacrifice fly to centerfield that scored speedy pinch-runner Braxton Lane. Kyle Hendricks (1-1) picked up the victory with a perfect inning of relief.

Zach Cone hit his first professional home run, a solo shot off the Gus Johnson Ford sign in leftfield, and Jorge Alfaro continued to swing a hot stick with three more hits, giving the catcher ten base knocks in his last four games.

The win leaves Spokane one game behind Boise in the Northwest League Eastern Division.

The Indians and Canadians return to action on Friday at Avista Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30pm.
