Spokane, WA - Pitcher Collin Wiles showed signs of impressiveness in his Spokane debut, but the Indians failed to capitalize on four Everett errors, losing 4-3 to the AquaSox in front of 4,783 fans.

With the AquaSox leading 4-3 in the bottom of the ninth, the Indians threatened for the second night in a row. With one out, Christopher Garia was nearly picked off stealing second, but an error by Everett's Reggie Lawson advanced Garia all the way to third. Spokane was unable to capitalize on the opportunity, as both Hirotoshi Onaka and Cam Schiller grounded out to end the rally.

Wiles (0-1), a 2012 first-round pick, tossed 5.1 innings, giving up five hits and three runs while striking out two. Eric Brooks and Josh McElwee, both returnees from 2012, allowed four hits and one run for the remainder of the game, keeping the win within reach.

Onaka, making his season debut, went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI sacrifice fly. Janluis Castro, the Indians offensive highlight of the season thus far, collected one more RBI on the season to bring his total up to three.

Garia, Alberto Truinfel, Chuck Moorman and Jamie Jarmon each had a hit for the Indians.

The Indians will head over to face the Vancouver Canadians, the reigning Northwest League champions, for a quick three-game series before returning home for an eight-game homestand next week.
