With just over two months to go until the college basketball season, the Zags are filling holes in their non-conference schedule.
According to ESPN's Andy Katz they will do so with one of the nation's most notable preseason tournaments. However, the field will be thinner than in years past.
Gonzaga will take part in the NIT Season Tip-Off, which has included a 16-team field in years past. This November it will feature eight teams, including two pre-determined semifinal games.
Mark Few's team will take on Georgia November 26th at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The winner of that game will face either Minnesota and St. John's. The championship game will take place Nov. 28th.
As part of the event GU will also host Saint Joseph's prior to their trip to New York.
Gonzaga has not made any announcement with regards to the tournament.
