Zags headed to San Diego to dance with Oklahoma State

SPOKANE -- When Gonzaga takes the floor in their 16th straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, they'll do so in San Diego against Oklahoma State.

The Zags are the eight-seed in the West Region. Their tournament opener takes place Friday in Viejas Arena. The Zags will play at 1:40 p.m. Pacific Time.

Gonzaga and Oklahoma State have met five times, most recently in December 2012, resulting in a 69-68 GU win. The series record is 5-0 in favor of Gonzaga.

Mark Few's team extended its NCAA Tournament streak with their win over BYU in the West Coast Conference Championship. The Bulldogs have an 18-16 all-time record in tournament games.
