TACOMA -- On the final day of the high school football season, Waitsburg-Prescott came away 2B state champions for the first time in the program's history.

The Cardinals handled the Timberwolves of Morton/White Pass in the Tacoma Dome Saturday, 33-7. Quarterback Zach Bartlow threw for two touchdown passes to Dalton Estes and ran in another as this game got out of hand in the second half.

Running back Billy Brown accounted for the other two Cardinal touchdowns, helping Waitsburg-Prescott complete its perfect 14-0 season.
