Sources tell KREM 2 Sports that the Washington State men's basketball team has added a new member to its roster.
Frenso State University transfer and Rainier Beach High School graduate Mychal Ladd is coming to Pullman next year. The 6'5" sophomore guard decided to leave the Bulldogs program May 23rd, saying he wanted to play closer to family and friends.
Ladd averaged 10.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game with Fresno State last season. He also shot a team-high 39% from three-point range.
According to NCAA rules, Ladd is required to sit out the upcoming season, but he will not lose a year of eligibility because he has not used his redshirt.
