WHARTON, N.J. -- Gonzaga Prep's Charlie Hopkins and Bishop Sankey have been selected to participate in the 2010 U.S. Army National Combine.

The combine will take place on January 7-9, 2010, during “Bowl Week" -- the week-long festivities leading up to the 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Modeled after the NFL combine, the three-day event, held annually in association with the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, is the first opportunity for the nation’s top underclassmen to demonstrate their physical talent and compete against one another amongst college football’s top scouting organizations.

U.S. Army National Combine alumni include: Ted Ginn Jr. (Miami Dolphins), Donte Whitner (Buffalo Bills), Jamaal Charles (Kansas City Chiefs), Tim Tebow (Florida), Colt McCoy (Texas), and Matt Stafford (Detroit Lions), among others.
