Vote for the week 9 Play of the Week
Only one week remains for the high school football season, and just like the teams have to step up their game, so too does the HS GameTime Plays of the Week.
The week nine options have been chosen, now it's up to you to tell us which play should be tabbed the best!
The first choice, we revisit a former Play of the Week nominee in Wellpinit's A.J. Keiffer. He's at it again with another great touchdown run, this one of the 53 yard variety against Selkirk. Keiffer is still looking for his first P.O.W. win.
Your second choice comes out of Lewiston High School where Bengals quarterback Beau Kerns mishandles the snap, recovers, rolls out and hits Ridge Fuentes on a 60-yard bomb for a touchdown.
For the third-and-final option, we welcome back Gonzaga Prep's Bishop Sankey to the Play of the Week nominee field. Sankey dazzled again Thursday night against a traditionally tough Mead defense. The play that stood out the most, was the Bullpups first from scrimmage that had Sankey drawing contact, then stepping and spinning out of tackles on his way to a 56-yard touchdown run. Sankey would later set the GSL all-time rushing mark with 4,141 yards and counting. He still has at least one more game left.
There are your week nine options. It's time to vote for which one you think deserves top billing. We'll tally up the votes and announce the winner on KREM 2 News at 6pm on Wednesday. We'll also feature the winning play on HS GameTime on Friday night at 11pm.
Thanks for voting!
