SPOKANE -- Mark Few said Tuesday he couldn't be prouder of the way his guys played through an eight-day, four-game stretch. With their 4-0 start to the WCC behind them, the Bulldogs now turn the page.

This week Gonzaga will try and pour all their energy and effort into their lone game, a visit to Portland on Thursday. The Pilots are 9-7, with a 1-3 start to West Coast Conference play.

Gonzaga is on the mend, but still shorthanded with Gary Bell Jr. out with a broken hand. Sam Dower Jr. is rounding into form after struggling with a lower back injury, while Kevin Pangos is still nursing a bout with turf toe. While David Stockton is getting over the flu, Przemek Karnowski is now under the weather.

Few said the weekend off will be nice for his team, noting that any time off the court will be beneficial given their current ailments.

GU visits the Pilots Thursday at 8:00 p.m.
