PULLMAN - In their only appearance in Martin Stadium of October, the Cougars will try to end a three game losing streak that began in their last game in Pullman.
Mike Leach's team host Cal Saturday in a matchup of 2-4 teams.
Washington State's current skid started with Colorado's fourth quarter comeback on September 22nd, and continued with their disappointing 19-6 showing at Oregon State.
Leach said Wednesday after practice that every season is a growing process, and that they can't squander any opportunity to grow week to week. That rings especially true after a visit to Corvallis that saw the WSU defense turn a corner, while the offense had its worst showing since the season opener at BYU.
According to their coach, one of the keys to getting back on track is playing consistently as a team through an entire game, something that is yet to happen.
The Cougs take on Cal Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Pullman.
