EUGENE -- The Spokane Indians scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to take down the Eugene Emeralds 4-1 on Thursday night.
Third baseman Mike Olt hit a solo home run in the fourth inning to give Spokane the lead, but it was Jason Kudlock's three-run double in the final frame that made the difference.
Clark Murphy, Josh Richmond, and Kevin Rodland, who committed two critical errors in Wednesday night's 4-3 loss to Eugene, all collected two hits on the night. Murphy and Richmond both scored on Kudlock's game-winner.
Indians pitchers held the Emeralds to just four hits for the second straight night. Chad Bell pitched seven solid innings, allowing just one run on three hits. Tim Steggall and Ryan Rodebaugh combined for two shutout innings to close out the victory.
Spokane and Eugene are set to play again on Friday night. First pitch is set for 7:05pm.
