PASCO -- The Tri-City Dust Devils escaped with a 2-1 win against the Spokane Indians on Tuesday night. The victory allowed the Dust Devils to avoid a sweep at the hands of their division rival.

Tri-City opened the scoring in the third inning thanks to a Tyler Massey run scoring single. The Indians then evened the tally in the fifth after Rougned Odor drove in Zach Cone with a sacrifice fly. Jared Simon brought home the eventual game-winner for the Dust Devils with an RBI single in the seventh.

Spokane's offense couldn't put anything together against Tri-City pitchers. The Indians registered just three hits as a team. Spokane had three errors on the night as well.

Juan Grullon took his first loss of the season after allowing the game-winning run in his one inning of work. He's now 5-1 on the season.

The Indians now hit the road for a five-game series against the Eugene Emeralds. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm on Wednesday.
