SPOKANE -- Gonzaga Prep's Bishop Sankey and Charlie Hopkins officially signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday to secure their college football futures.
Sankey, the Greater Spokane League's all-time leading rusher, signed with the University of Washington. He originally committed to Washington State, but changed his mind last week. Sankey was also offered scholarships by Maryland, Minnesota, Hawaii, Vanderbilt, Ohio, and Bowling Green.
Hopkins, listed as the 38th best defensive end in the country by Scout.com, is heading to Stanford. He missed the last four games of his senior season after tearing his ACL in a game against Central Valley on October 8th.
