SPOKANE -- For the first time in school history, the Gonzaga women's basketball team is ranked in both major national polls.

The Zags, now 19-4 on the season, moved up two spots in the Associated Press Top 25 on Monday. They are now 22nd in the country; the best ranking in the program's history.

The Bulldogs also joined the nation's elite when they were ranked 23rd in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll on Tuesday. It's the first time since 2004-05 that the women's team has cracked the Top 25 in the coaches poll.

Gonzaga has a tough week ahead facing St. Mary's (17-7; 8-1) on Thursday and San Diego (14-9; 6-3) on Saturday. Both games are on the road.
