After playing one season at Utah, former EWU guard Glen Dean is returning to the Inland Northwest.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that Dean will transfer to Idaho after graduating from Utah. Because he will have his degree, the former Big Sky Freshman of the Year will be able to play his senior season for Don Verlin without sitting out for a season.

The move will also reunite him with former Eags head coach Kirk Earlywine.

Dean was the Utes' starting point guard at the beginning of his junior year, but was eventually limited to a reserve role. He finished the season averaging 5.5 points per game.

During his second season in Cheney Dean averaged 13.3 points per game.

When he arrives in Moscow he will get a chance to play one season with his brother and incoming freshman Perrion Callandret.
