PULLMAN, Wash.-- Eastern Washington University took on the Cougs at Washington State University Saturday afternoon.
The game ended its first half with the Cougs up by ten, the Eagles being down 24-14.
A huge number of fans turned out to celebrate their respective teams. According to WSU's Twitter feed, 33,598 people cheered on the Cougs and the Eagles. It was the first home opener sellout at WSU since 1952.
