WSU got a taste of the signing day drama, with QB Tyler Bruggman (Phoenix, AZ) deciding on the Cougs after a late push from Arizona State.
Bruggman committed to Washington State last summer, but after a QB spot opened up in ASU's class the Sun Devils tried to get the four-star quarterback to flip.
In the end, Bruggman said he was a man of his word and stuck with WSU. He is part of a 24-man class that features some new bodies up front. In all, the Cougars signed six offensive lineman and five on the defensive front.
Bruggman is among the biggest names, along with wide receivers Robert Lewis (South Gate, CA) and JUCO signee Vince Mayle (Sierra College).
"We got quality guys," Mike Leach said. "They're good in the classroom for the most part as well as they fit our needs."
