PULLMAN -- Pullman police arrested Washington State wide receiver Gabe Marks following an incident that took place early Saturday.

Marks was cited for 4th degree assault, 2nd degree criminal trespass, as well as minor intoxicated in public and and minor frequenting a tavern.

The arrest took place at 2:12 a.m. at 600 NE Colorado St. in Pullman.

Marks tweeted early Sunday, "I am sorry to everyone who believed in me. My actions are my own and I have to live with it. Can't change the past. Can only look forward."

It is WSU's policy not to comment on internal team matters.

The Los Angeles native is 19 years old. This is his second arrest in the last year. He was cited for minor in possession-exhibiting last February.

As a sophomore in 2013, Marks led the Cougs with 74 receptions for 807 yards and seven touchdowns.
