Gonzaga has gone a long way in solidifying the future of their backcourt in recent months, and on Monday another highly sought-after guard picked the Zags.

Bryan Alberts, a 6-foot-5-inch senior combo guard from Village Christian in Northridge, CA has committed to Gonzaga. According to his AAU coach Robert Icart, Alberts also had offers from Oregon State, Wisconsin, Tulane and Arizona State. Stanford was also recruiting Alberts, who carries a 3.6 GPA.

Alberts averaged 17.2 points as a junior. Icart says he can play either guard position, and is listed as a point guard on his AAU team's website.

"His skills will transfer quickly to the college level," Icart said. "He'll be able to contribute immediately."

When asked why Gonzaga was appealing to his player, Icart compared the GU program to the famous burger chain In-N-Out.

"No matter where you are it's exactly the same, Icart said. "Always know what you're gonna get."
