CHENEY -- The is out to make a difference.

The Eagles will wear pink jerseys against the University of Idaho on Friday night to help raise breast cancer awareness.

The uniforms will be auctioned off during the game, with the proceeds going to the local Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The EWU hockey team is not sanctioned by the NCAA (they are a club team), but that doesn't mean they aren't really good at what they do.

The Eagles have finished in the national rankings over the last three years. Friday night's game against the Vandals is their season opener.

The two squads play on Saturday night as well. The puck drops on both nights at 7:30pm at the University Recreation Center (on the corner of 10th and Cedar).
