Kendrys Morales is a Seattle Mariner again.
The team acquired the first baseman and designated hitter in a trade with the Minnesota Twins Thursday in exchange for pitcher Stephen Pryor.
Morales played for the Mariners in 2013. This season with the Twins, he’s hitting .234 with 1 home run and 18 RBI in 39 games.
The Mariners said he will be available starting Friday night when the Mariners host the Baltimore Orioles in the second game of a four-game series.
Seattle started Thursday one-half game ahead of the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays for the second American League wild card spot.
