Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week Wednesday.
Wilson threw for 310 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Seattle’s 34-7 win over the New Orleans Saints Monday. He also ran the ball eight times for 47 yards.
Wilson is the third-highest rated quarterback in the NFL at 108.5. His 22 touchdowns are four shy of the 26 he threw all of last season.

New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his four sacks. Philadelphia Eagles punter Donnie Jones won the NFC award for special teams.
Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker, Miami Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon and Cincinnati Bengals punter Kevin Huber won the AFC awards.
