The December 23 game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field has been moved from an afternoon start to a 5:20 p.m. kickoff and will be seen nationwide on NBC and locally on KING 5. The game could be a determining factor in who wins the division.
The Seahawks (8-5) are coming off a 58-0 blowout of the Arizona Cardinals while the 49ers (9-3-1) defeated the Miami Dolphins 27-13. If the playoffs started today, both teams would be in.
The 49ers defeated the Seahawks 13-6 in Week 7.
The Seahawks head to Toronto this Sunday to play the Buffalo Bills while the Niners visit New England, which will also be a Sunday night game on NBC.
Both Seattle and San Francisco have been the talk of the NFL for their young quarterbacks. Rookie Russell Wilson has surprised many critics who have said his lack of height could hinder him. Colin Kaepernick, in his second year, replaced an injured Alex Smith a few weeks ago and has been left in as the starter since.
