Brief Description of Duties: KREM 2 News is seeking applicants for a Reporter/Photographer/Editor. Duties include researching and pitching unique story ideas, shooting and editing video for newscasts, running your own live truck, and on-camera reporting from the field. Applicants must have a love of breaking news, severe weather and being part of a team that wins big story coverage.
Qualifications: College degree or equivalent experience. Minimum two years experience of television news photography, editing and reporting experience. Complete news gathering skills required for broadcast and all digital platforms. Knowledge of ENG live vehicle operation and set up for live news shots with the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
