Brief description of duties: Anchor must have strong editorial judgement to drive hard news content of fast-paced morning show. Anchor must possess excellent storytelling and copy editing skills to help write content for morning newscast. Previous anchoring experience a must. Extensive adlibbing experience in continuous coverage of breaking news and severe weather required. Anchor will produce 30-minute noon show five days a week and solo anchor it three days a week.
Qualifications: College degree required with minimum combined five years experience as an anchor and reporter. Excellent writing and adlib skills. Previous producing experience required. Candidate must have demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
