Danielle Grant
Weather Anchor/Reporter
Danielle Grant is a weekend weather anchor and reporter for KREM 2 News.
Before coming to Spokane, Danielle forecasted the weather and reported the news at KIFI-TV in Idaho Falls. There she found her passion: predicting Mother Nature. She tracked and forecasted snow storms, severe thunderstorms and subzero temperatures from the mountains to the deserts and everything in between.
She graduated from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo. While at Cal Poly, Danielle worked for the campus television station, CPTV, as a reporter, news anchor and weather forecaster. She also received the department’s award for leadership in journalism. Now she’s back to the books, studying toward her Meteorology degree and AMS Seal.
Danielle spent most of her life in California, where she was born and raised in sunny San Diego. She enjoys the great outdoors and loves to ride the slopes on her snowboard and spend hot summer days wakeboarding on the lake. When she’s not in the newsroom, you may see her hiking, biking, horseback riding or just soaking up the sun.
If you have any story ideas or would just like to say hello, you can email Danielle at dgrant@krem.com.
