NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) — Cyprus police have formally pressed murder charges against a TV host, her brother and a third man in the suspected contract killing of the island's most powerful publisher.

Prosecutors on Friday charged Elena Skordelli, her brother Anastasios Krasopoullis and Andreas Grigoriou with premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

All three deny any involvement in the murder of Andy Hadjicostis.

Hadjicostis, the 41-year-old director of the Dias Media Group, was gunned down Jan. 11 outside his Nicosia home.

Prosecutors have said revenge over the TV host's firing and control of a Dias-owned TV station appeared the likely motives in the killing.

Police are seeking a fourth suspect believed to have fled abroad.

I am so sick and tired of hearing about people being murdered. If we would just go by what the Bible tells us, (AN EYE FOR AN EYE) and carry justice out quickly, we might cut down on the murder rate. I was nearly murdered more than once myself, so, I know how evil these typ of people are. Why should we have mercy on them -- when they had no mercy on their victems when they were pleading for their lives?
