SPOKANE-- Crews battled a brush fire in Northeast Spokane on Beacon Hill Friday.
The fire was near Euclid and Havana and burned about a half-acre of brush.
A plume of smoke could be seen coming up from the trees.
Officials say access to the hill created challenges for battling the fire. Fire officials say it could’ve been m much worse had the brush been drier.
Officials say there was concern for power and phone lines.
There were no homes in danger.
