Crews respond to brush fire on protected land in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY- Crews responded to a brush fire in Spokane Valley near Mirabeau and Pines Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was on protective wildlife grounds. No vehicles were allowed on the grounds and crews could not shovel or scrape the ground. Any alterations to the area will be fixed.
The fire was about 1/4 of an acre.
