SPOKANE-- A wildfire in northwest Spokane is fully contained after crews battled it for about 2 hours Monday.

Officials say the wildfire started near Ohio and Lower Falls by a trail along the Spokane River.

Authorities say one structure was threatened, but there were no injuries or damages. A few power poles were burned but don’t need to be replaced.

Crews say their biggest challenge battling the fire was the winds.

Officials say the call came in around 2:45p.m. Monday.
