SPOKANE-- Crews confined a brush fire to just ¼ acre Wednesday on Beacon Hill.
It started around noon near Valley Springs Road. The Department of Natural Resource was called in to assist. Crews said the fire had the potential to spread up a slope but a lack of wind helped them contain the flames.
No structures were threatened during the fire.
No word on what sparked the fire; however, crews did find a campsite near the origin of the fire.
