REARDAN, Wash.-- A 3 acre brush fire threatened homes in Reardan Wednesday.
Officials said the fire spread across about three acres before crews could get the flames under control. 12 homes were threatened but there were no officials evacuations.
Crews battled the fire on foot and with air attacks.
One outbuilding was burned and one home had minor damage.
Lincoln County said it hoped to have everything contained by 3:00 p.m. 50 firefighters mopped up the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
