FISHTRAP, Wash. -- The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office evacuated about 60 people at the Fishtrap Lake Resort around 3:15 p.m. Saturday due to a brush fire burning nearby.

The fire broke out Saturday afternoon.

At last check, it was covering about 30 acres. The fire burned in an area about two miles west of the intersection of Fishtrap Road and Sprague Highway.

The Department of Natural Resources assisted.
