DAYTON, WA. -- A wildfire in Southeast Washington has charred 11,000 acres.

The Hubbard Fire, burning outside Dayton in Columbia County, started during Thursday's gusty winds, and grew within a few hours.

As of Friday, the Washington Department of Natural Resources estimated it to be 11,000 acres and 15% contained.
