GRANT COUNTY, Wash --- Two wildfires near Quincy and Moses Lake are now contained.

While the Ancient Lake Fire, five miles south of Quincy, is contained, crews are still in patrol status. Grant County Fire District 13 reported about 80 acres were burned.

Don Fortier with Grant County Fire District 3 said the terrain was the main concern Sunday and high wind is expected to pose a few challenges Monday.

"We're getting mixed reports on how this one started, it could have been intentionally set. We're trying to run that down," said Fortier. "We're just telling people to just be careful out there."

Grant Co. fire officials reported there are four to five different fire departments on the scene and a water dropping helicopter trying to contain the wildfire.

The Stonecrest Fire north of Moses Lake is also contained. That fire covered roughly four acres, according to Kyle Forman with the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

A Red Flag Warning was issued for Grant County Monday morning. It is in effect from 2:00 p.m. Monday to 8:00 p.m. The area is expected to see gusty winds and low humidity.
