SPOKANE -- A motorcycle driver was rushed to the hospital after a crash on Highway 904 just west of Cheney.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 1:30 p.m. Monday.
A Subaru was turning left onto eastbound State Route 904 from a private driveway when it struck a motorcycle going westbound.
The motorcycle driver, 54-year-old Bret C. Talbott, was taken to Sacred Heart with unknown injuries.
The driver of the Subaru, 18-year-old Charlie L. Weber, was charged with failure to yield.
Traffic was detoured off that section of the highway for a few hours. The crash was cleared, re-opening the road to traffic around 4:00 p.m.
