Teen with autism found after more than a day

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. --- Deputies found Steven Hyde, he is safe and back at Visions for a New Beginning

UPDATE: Hyde has been found and is safe


Steven E. Hyde, 15, has autism and takes medications for seizures, according to SCSO.

"He may have a difficult time communicating due to his disabilities," SCSO said in a release.

Hyde is a white male, about 5'4" and 75 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes, officials said. 

"Hyde has been known to frequent Holmberg Park and the surrounding area but attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful," SCSO said in a release.

Staff at New Beginnings reported Hyde as a runaway to SCSO. 

This is not New Beginnings Visitation.
