WENATCHEE, Wash. -- Schools across the country have a new way to showcase creativity and positivity, thanks to the idea of a Wenatchee man.
It is called Change My School. It is a website where students and teachers can share what inspires them.
Bryce Anderson got the idea for the project after watching his wife teach second grade. He was inspired by the students’ intelligence and imagination, so he created an outlet for them. He said the next generation of leaders, dreamers, and thinkers can now have a place to inspire each other.
Students can create and upload videos about topics important to them. Others can then watch and vote for their favorite videos. The video with the most votes will win $1,000. Voting for the videos ends May 31, 2013.
Anderson said the ultimate goal is to have people from all 50 states upload videos and make a positive impact on their school and community.
