SPOKANE – A new Google program helps local businesses reach out to more customers.
Restaurants like Waddell’s on Spokane’s South Hill have added Google Business Photos to its marketing plan. It works just like Google’s Street View program.
Spokane photographer Dennis Boott, who works for Google, captures images of the business in 360 degree images.
“It allows customers to virtually walk inside the business and see what it looks like,” Boott said.
Waddell’s owner Michael Noble said the tool is a great way to attract new customers.
“You have to stay current. Facebook, social media… every little thing you can do helps,” Noble said.
Six Spokane businesses have signed up for the program. It costs around $400 to set up.
